How Can I Control If My Wedding Website is Searchable on Google (and Other Search Engines)?

With Lovebird, you have the choice to control whether your wedding website appears in search engine results. This can be helpful if guests misplace your wedding website URL or if acquaintances want to know if/where you're registered.

However, we recognize that privacy is important, so this option is disabled by default. This means your website will not be visible on search engines and won’t show up in search results. If you would like your wedding website to be discoverable through search engines, you can enable this option anytime. Here’s how you can manage this setting:

  1. Log in to your Lovebird account and navigate to your Dashboard.
  2. Locate your wedding website and click on “Edit Website.”

  1. On the left-hand menu of the website editor, select “Settings.”

  1. Under the Settings menu, click “Privacy.”

  1. By default, this option is disabled. To enable it, toggle the switch next to “Let search engines link to your wedding website” to ON.
  2. Click “Save” to apply your changes.

If needed, you can modify this setting anytime to control whether your wedding website is visible on search engines.
