How to Give Permission to Record Video
You can create Video Cards from a PC or Mac. Each browser requires specific permission settings for camera and microphone access. Follow the instructions for your preferred browser below:
Google Chrome
- Navigate to the design section of your card and select Add a Video Message.
- A prompt will appear asking for camera and microphone permissions. Select Allow while visiting the site to proceed.
If Permissions Are Blocked:
- Click the video camera icon in the URL bar.
- Toggle the settings for the Camera and Microphone access.
- Click off the menu and reload the page to save the changes.
Firefox
- Click Add a Video Message in the design step of your card.
- When prompted, select Allow to enable camera and microphone access.
If Permissions Are Blocked:
- Click the camera icon in the URL bar.
- Remove restrictions by clicking the X next to the blocked permissions.
- Return to the card design page and select Add a Video Message again, then click Allow.
Microsoft Edge
- Select Add a Video Message in the design step of your card.
- A permissions window will appear. Select Allow to enable camera and microphone access.
If Permissions Are Blocked:
- Click the lock icon in the URL bar.
- Change the settings to Allow from the drop-down menu next to the blocked permissions.
- Refresh the browser page and try again.
Safari
Safari does not currently support video recording. However, you can upload a pre-recorded video instead. For detailed instructions, visit this guide.
